The Oregon Tobacco Quit Line

The quit line is a free telephone and web-based counseling service to help Oregonians quit using tobacco and nicotine products. They provide tips, information and one-on-one telephone counseling and will help you make a plan that is right for you. Open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

It is available to all Oregonians regardless of income or insurance status and is staffed by real people who are friendly and non-judgmental.

Freedom From Smoking (FFS) - In-Person and Online!

Freedom From SmokingFreedom From Smoking (FFS) is a program specifically designed for adults who want to quit smoking. FFS is available online and in person. FFS online is great for anyone who has regular access to internet and is comfortable interacting with others in an online environment. The American Lung Association's FFS Online program has helped thousands of adults quit smoking for good. Yamhill County Public Health also offers FFS in-person and virtual sessions. The in-person trainings are great for those who do not have access to the internet or are interested in participating with people in a shared space. Smokefree.gov

Smokefree OregonSmokefree.gov provides information, tools and tips on quitting tobacco. It will help individuals create personalized quit plans and will answer various questions you might have about tobacco or quitting. They also provide resources via apps, social media or texting service. Smokefree.gov has pages specifically for women, veterans, teens, people 60 and over, and is also available is Spanish.

Take Down Tobacco

Take Down TobaccoTake Down Tobacco is a comprehensive youth advocacy training program geared towards middle and high school students and helps to equip youth with the skills to create change in their communities and to help create the first tobacco- and nicotine-free generation.
