Travis Thornton released from Department of Corrections May 5, 2022.  He is on lifetime post prison supervision for Sodomy I and is classified as a Sexually Violent Dangerous Offender (SVDO):  A Sexually Violent Dangerous Offender (SVDO) is someone who, due to psychopathic personality features, sexually deviant arousal patterns or interests, and a history of sexual assault, is deemed to have a substantial probability of committing further sex crimes. These crimes are specifically listed in ORS 137.765(3) and include various forms of sexual assault and child abuse.
