County Road 259

RUSSELL CREEK ROAD - dated to 1880 - Lies two miles northeast of Yamhill. Name's origin is unknown; but, possibly, could be linked to William M. Russell, an 1852 immigrant from Indiana. Mr. Russell, later, served as a road supervisor, a school director, and a school clerk.
