2022 Yamhill County COVID-19 Relief Grants

Restaurant License Fee Grant Program
 
The 2022 Yamhill County COVID-19 Restaurant Licensing Fee Grant program is intended to provide support for Yamhill County restaurants that have been directly impacted by COVID-19 and the restrictions imposed by State of Oregon guidance. Licensing is renewed on a calendar-year basis, and eligible applicants will have their fee waived for 2022.
 
To aid these businesses to be prepared for eventual re-opening or eventual lessening of current restrictions, we are proposing the following grant program for 2022:
 
Grant Awards
 
Funds available for the COVID-19 Restaurant Licensing Fee Grant are provided by fees collected during the 2022 renewal period and will be equal to $230,000.
 
Grants will be awarded to eligible applicants will be equal to 100% of the 2022 Adopted License Rates for Yamhill County restaurants (mobile and fixed location), which is further categorized by the number of seats typically available.
 
Eligibility
 
  1. Qualified applicants must be located within Yamhill County, headquartered in Oregon, and have its principal operations in Oregon.
  2. Restaurants must have been in operation for a minimum of 12 months as of December 31, 2021
  3. Restaurants that are pending renewal of their January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2022 Restaurant License.

Ineligible Applicants
 
  1. Individuals
  2. Restaurant that have not been in operation for a minimum of 12 months as of December 31, 2021.
  3. Restaurants that are delinquent on federal, state, or local taxes that were due on, or before, the date of application
  4. Restaurants that do not comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations
  5. Restaurants that have closed and do not intend to reopen
Application Instructions
 
  1. Go to the Yamhill County website: https://webportalapp.com/sp/restaurants2022
  2. Create a new Organizational Profile or login to an existing account
  3. Fill out 2022 Restaurant License Fee Grant application
    1. Answer two eligibility questions (drop-down menu)
    2. Choose: Have not paid 2022 Restaurant License Fee
    3. Download W-9, fill out and sign and upload
    4. Take a photo or scan current 2022 Restaurant License Fee invoice and upload to the portal
    5. Submit online application
Program Timeline
 
  • Applications accepted online only: Tuesday, November 23, 2022 at 8:00 a.m. PST through Sunday, March 31, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. PST
  • Applications will be processed as they are received. Please allow two weeks after submitting.
