Yamhill County Declaring a State of Emergency (BO 20-93)

The health and safety of our community and our employees is a top priority. In response to COVID-19 and based on the recommendations provided by the CDC, the State of Oregon, and our Public Health officials, many of our County’s offices and facilities are temporarily closing to clients, customers, and visitors starting March 16, 2020.
Although the County is limiting access to County facilities and offices, our staff is still working during regular business hours and remain ready to assist you via phone and email. We continue to be committed to providing you excellent service. Should you have specific questions about specific programs or offices, please check the specific department pages.
Please note that our Public Health team is working diligently around the clock in response to COVID-19 and will continue to do so.
The Courthouse remains open at this time; however, many offices within the Courthouse will have limited access.  If you have questions about Yamhill County Circuit Court, please go to:  https://www.courts.oregon.gov/courts/yamhill/Pages/default.aspx.
In addition to limiting access to County facilities, we may be required to cancel, postpone, or limit the number of meetings that are held each week.  This includes the Board of Commissioners’ weekly sessions and our various advisory committees and commissions.  Cancellations and changes to already scheduled meetings will be noticed on the meetings page of the County website.  We are currently looking at alternative means for conducting public meetings that comply with social distancing recommendations and Oregon public meetings laws.
The county budget season is in full swing!  The full budget committee is tentatively scheduled to meet May 4 - 6, 2020 to approve the proposed budget.  The initial budget is posted here which will be reviewed by the Commissioners prior to the Budget Committee Meetings.  Due to the current situation with COVID-19 times and dates for the tentatively scheduled Budget Committee Meetings are subject to change.
