Sharps Disposal

Sharps, Syringes, Needles:
DO NOT throw sharps, syringes or needles into the garbage. Also do not “snip” off the needle part for disposal or recycle the “plastic”. Medical waste must be destroyed correctly.

   Recology: Please contact their McMinnville main office at (503)472-3176 or by email: [email protected], regarding a sharps container purchase/disposal.

 • 

   Waste Management – Newberg: Sharps containers are available for purchase at the scale house at the Newberg Transfer Station. Cost includes the container and disposal.
