Adult Services
Overview
The Adult Outpatient Services team works with individuals over 18 years of age presenting with mental health illnesses. Services are prioritized based on level of functioning and insurance authorization.
Services are organized around the following practices:
- Bio-psychosocial comprehensive behavioral health assessment and strength-based service planning which may include psychiatric evaluation and medication support, individual and group therapy, case management support and skills training services, peer-delivered services, and linkage with natural supports.
- Services are culturally competent
- Services are trauma-informed
Services are based on evidence-based practices to maximize recovery and wellness and include:
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Essentials for Vulnerable Adults
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Anxiety and/or Depression
- Dialectical Behavioral Therapy
- Dual Disorder treatment groups
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
- Individualized Services and Support Plans
- Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction
- Psychiatric Medication Support
- Solution Focused Brief Therapy
Cultural Services
At Yamhill County, outpatient services are available for Spanish-speaking clientele. Services are provided by bi-cultural and culturally competent staff members and counselors. Our Spanish-speaking staff works closely with additional cultural-specific programs in Oregon to meet all of your behavioral health needs. Spanish-speaking services are available at both our Newberg and McMinnville offices.

Evaluation
Urgent Behavioral Health Screening or evaluation is provided to determine the mental health service needs of an individual experiencing psychiatric symptoms.

Intensive Community-Based Services
When efforts with individual counseling and group therapies haven't been enough to safely address more complex and severe problems, we may request more intensive services.

Mental Health Court Services
Jail Diversion services are available to adults that, due to a serious and persistent mental illness, are subject to arrest or have been arrested for a non-violent felony or misdemeanor.
