Administrative Volunteers
A program where volunteers assist within the administration of the Yamhill County
Sheriff's Office, working directly with support personnel. Opportunities Include:

Amateur Radio Volunteers
A program that provides amateur radio emergency services to the community.

Citizen Response Volunteers
A program where volunteers receive patrol and response training for active use
in the field. Opportunities Include:

Explorer/Cadet Volunteers
A program for youth interested in learning more about or having a career in
law enforcement. Program includes academic learning opportunities with limited

Mounted Posse Volunteers
This program utilizes armed equestrian riders to assist in the field.

Patrol Reserve Volunteers
This program is for those volunteers who are over the age of 21 and interested in receiving extensive training in law enforcement. This is often used as a stepping-stone toward being a sworn deputy.
