Habitat Conservation Plan - November 5, 2012
This department has submitted a Habitat Conservation Plan to the US Fish and Wildlife Service. This plan asks for an incidental take permit (permit) pursuant to the Endangered Species Act of 1973, as amended (ESA). The County’s application requests a 30-year permit that would authorize ‘‘take’’ of the endangered Fender’s blue butterfly incidental to otherwise lawful activities associated with county road maintenance and prairie habitat management activities. The plan is currently published at the link below under "Proposal for Yamhill County HCP".

News Release - Transportation System WEB SURVEY 8/30/2012
McMinnville - Yamhill County is conducting a web survey to gather public input in the development of the Yamhill County Transportation System Plan. In the first phase of the study, existing and future transportation system needs will be identified for the auto, transit, bicycle, and pedestrian modes. In the second part of the study, a set of short-term and long-term improvements will be recommended to address the identified needs.
Community involvement is a very important part of the planning process, and the public is encouraged to participate in the survey to provide comments on current and future transportation issues. It should take only about five minutes to complete.
Members of the public with specific interest in the transportation system plan study are encouraged also
to join the project mailing list by submitting their name and contact information to Julie Sosnovske at jxs@dksassociates.com
