he Youth Empowerment Squad (YES) is a group of students representing each of the high schools in Yamhill County. YES serves as a youth advisory to the Juvenile Crime and Substance Abuse Prevention Council and receives operational support from the Yamhill County Health and Human Services.

YES’ mission is to advocate for positive change by expanding public knowledge of youth accomplishments and promoting positive, healthy youth activities. Our program is designed to provide youth with the skills, opportunities and recognition to be positive influences within their communities. YES members must also commit to being alcohol and drug free.
