Note: The Willamina Museum is located at 188 SE 'D' Street in Willamina, and is open Saturdays and Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m. Curators April Wooden, Bob and Charlene Brown have graciously allowed us to scan the photos on this page as noted thusly2. With the exception of the tip over, these photos were donated to the Museum by Jim Scharschmidt, whose father Howard worked for the W & G.R. railroad between 1922 and 1962. Howard, also known as H.B. had a brother named Guy who was the civil engineer who performed some of the design work on this line, and who may have taken these photos.
