- 1939 Burn: Bryce & Eleanor Mitchell watch fire spread up the
canyon in Sec. 24 T2S, R7W. (Tillamook County)
- Timber Carnival 20's: taken at New Agency.
- Firecrew: Steinberg Fire camp
- Flora School: 15 miles west of Carlton, 1929 thru 1931 only
- Logging: This picture was submitted by Carole
Parrott Joppe
- Sawmill: Location uncertain, either on Bald Peak or in Red Hills.
Approx. 1890.
- Telephone call: When the train broke down, telephones were used to
call in.
- Trainwreck 1: Occurred in 1920, on bridge (trestle) #24.
- Trainwreck 2: same engine shown in aftermath photo. Occurred on a
28° curve.
- Woodcutter: Rollie Smith of McMinnville
- Corvallis Station Loggers: even though not in Yamhill County, this
represents a quaint Oregon logging custom
- Chesterbrook was a logging activity near the present Flying M
ranch.
- Carpenter & Forester Operation - Charlie Spaulding first
worked here in the lumber industry
- Daniels & Agee Sawmill was up Gopher Valley
