• 1939 Burn: Bryce & Eleanor Mitchell watch fire spread up the canyon in Sec. 24 T2S, R7W. (Tillamook County)
• Timber Carnival 20's: taken at New Agency.
• Firecrew: Steinberg Fire camp
• Flora School: 15 miles west of Carlton, 1929 thru 1931 only
• Logging: This picture was submitted by Carole Parrott Joppe
• Sawmill: Location uncertain, either on Bald Peak or in Red Hills. Approx. 1890.
• Telephone call: When the train broke down, telephones were used to call in.
• Trainwreck 1: Occurred in 1920, on bridge (trestle) #24.
• Trainwreck 2: same engine shown in aftermath photo. Occurred on a 28° curve.
• Woodcutter: Rollie Smith of McMinnville
• Corvallis Station Loggers: even though not in Yamhill County, this represents a quaint Oregon logging custom
• Chesterbrook was a logging activity near the present Flying M ranch.
• Carpenter & Forester Operation -  Charlie Spaulding first worked here in the lumber industry
• Daniels & Agee Sawmill was up Gopher Valley
