FEE STRUCTURE

Notice: Office is now accepting digital preliminary copies for reviews.
Payment policy has changed for Surveys and Partitions ONLY.

We accept payments by Credit Card (Visa or MasterCard), or check.
NO CASH!

All Digital Preliminary Review (PDF file) send to:  glassm@co.yamhill.or.us
All paper Reviews to be marked “Review Only” across the Surveyor Stamp that has been signed.
All Reviews plotted on 18”x 24” paper. Only one set needed.
All Reviews plotted on paper can be folded.
Have a Return Email Address on Review Copy to ensure a faster return time.
Final for Survey accepted on 18”x 24” paper or Mylar. (Most use paper)
Final for Partition, Subdivision, and Condo on 18”x 24” Mylar ONLY
All Final’s plotted on Paper or Mylar CANNOT be folded.
Require 2 Mylar sets filing Partitions, Subdivisions, Condominiums, and Cemeteries.
Board Order #08-300 for all Fees shown for Survey, Partition, Subdivision, Condo, and Cemetery.

SURVEY: $300 filing fee is required for recording a Survey.

Option 1)
Send digital (via email) copy.
When review is completed it will be returned via email.
Make necessary changes if needed.
Print Final and submit with signature.
Include payment by standard mail or in person.

Option 2)
Mail (or deliver in person) one paper copy for review.
Payment included if available.
When review completed, will be returned via email (if provided) or standard mail.
Make necessary changes if needed.
Print Final and submit with signature.
Include payment (if not yet paid) by standard mail or in person.
 
Option 3)
(For very simple basic survey with little chance of correction needed)
Send signed FINAL COPY
Include payment
Will review it. If no correction needed, it will be filed. If correction needed, it will be returned for the necessary change(s).

 
PARTITION: Filing Fee $300 for recording
Plat Check A: Review returned with actual cost due.
(Labor cost of time spent reviewing plat)
Plat Check B: $200 deposit, leftover returned to payee.

  
                        Option 1)

                        When review completed it will be returned via email.
                        “Plat Check A” amount due will be attached.
                        Make necessary changes if any needed.
                        Submit Final Mylar with proper signatures and notary.
                        Including payment for total amount of Filing Fee and “Plat Check A” combined.

                        Option 2)
                        Mail (or deliver in person) one paper copy for review.
                        Included with Title Insurance Report.
                        When review is completed it will be returned via email (if provided) or standard mail.
                        “Plat Check A” amount due will be attached.
                        Make necessary changes if any needed.
                        Submit Final Mylar with proper signatures and notary.
                        Including payment for total amount of Filing Fee and “Plat Check A” combined.                       

                        Option 3)
                        Using Option 1 or Option 2 in conjunction with Plat Fee B.
                        Submitting a payment totaling $500
                        ($200 Plat Check Deposit and $300 Filing Fee)
                        Our service as cost for the plat check will be deducted from the $200 deposit.
                        Any remaining unused portion will be returned back to the payee                    

Subdivisions & Condominiums: $300 Filing Fee for recording
$50 Additional Per Lot and Tract
$1500 Plat Check Deposit

Send digital (via email) copy.
Included with Title Insurance Report.
Total Fee payment due to ensure the review process gets started.
When office review completed, will be returned via email.
Make necessary correction if needed.
Print Final and submit with properly signed signatures and notary.
With Final received, field check will follow.
If field work matches Plat it will be approved.
If errors in the field are found, contact will be made to be corrected.
Once corrected, a 2nd field check will take place.
Once approved, our office will forward to next County Dept. accordingly to signature blocks to be signed.
Our service as cost for the plat and field check will be deducted from the $1500 deposit. Any remaining unused portion will be returned back to the payee.

Subdivisions with Delayed Monumentation: $300 Filing Fee for Recording
                                                                            $50 per Lot & Tract
                                                                            $1500 Plat Check Deposit
                                                Plus Additional $75 per delayed Monument.

Send digital (via email) review copy.
Included with Title Insurance Report.
Total Fee payment due to ensure review process gets started.
When office review completed, will be returned via email.
Make necessary correction if needed.
Print Final and submit with properly signed signatures and notary.
With Final received, field check will follow for the exterior monuments.
If field work matches Plat, it will be approved.
If errors in the field are found, contact will be made to be corrected.
Once corrected, a 2nd field check will take place.
After approval, our office will forward to next County Dept. accordingly to signature blocks to be signed.

At a later date:
When ALL post-monuments have been set, checked, and approved

This office will reduce the subdivision deposit fee by actual costs incurred in the review or approval process, including all costs required by plat notations of changed monument positions or types caused by development subsequent to the initial platting.
Affidavit of Delayed Monumentation:
The filing fee required by the county clerk must be paid to that office at the time of filing of affidavit.
The additional $75 per monument fee will be returned to payor upon filing of an affidavit of delayed monumentation.
Also the unused portion of the Plat Check $1500 deposit will be returned.

Cemeteries: $300 Filing Fee for recording
                        $1500 Plat Check deposit

                        Same rules follow as a Subdivision

Replacement of Destroyed Public Land Corner: This office will require a deposit of 120% of the estimated cost of replacement.

Research Fee: This office will charge actual costs, payable at the time of research, with a $10 minimum fee.

Personal Hourly rate: This office will charge for second or subsequent required monument measurements in the field resulting from missing, damaged, or mis-located monuments discovered in the initial visitation. This charge also applies to encroachments not indicated on review plats which are subsequently discovered by County Crews and are required to be removed or otherwise addressed by the County Surveyor. The charge for any of these services will be a blend rate of $60/hour, which will either be subtracted from subdivision fee deposits,
or be required to be paid prior to plat approval if such deposit has been depleted.
