Community Corrections Home
This information is intended for family members, friends or attorneys desiring visitation or contact with an individual from Benton County housed in the Yamhill County Correctional Facility in McMinnville, Oregon.
PERSONAL VISITS

At the time inmates are booked they receive a visitors form. The form can list up to 5 persons the inmate wants to visit while in YCCF. This form must be filled out correctly with all information requested. This form will go to the records office in the Yamhill County Correctional Facility where it will be filed in a binder.

The inmate while lodged in a classification or segregation block will not receive visits. Once they are classified they can receive visits.

Visit days and times are dependant on the housing assignment. Whenever the inmate is housed visiting days and times are posted along with inmate rules in the day room.

An approved visitor must call 24 hours in advance in order to visit. Phone: 503-434-7507 x4490.

Visitors not approved may be those that are victims of the crime they committed (or alleged to have committed), juveniles, persons on court or formal probation, or those with a history of not following visitation rules. (Those on probation may visit with PO's written permission.

Visiting rules are posted in the foyer of the facility for the public.

Each inmate receives one half hour block for the visit that can be divided into 15 minute segments. Two visitors can be in each 15 minute segment. We do not start visits after the prescribed time and advise all to be at least 15 minutes early.

We do not allow personal property inside the visiting area. Lockers with a refundable quarter are available for those who do not wish to leave items in the vehicle.

All visitors must show picture ID and sign in at the records window.

No contact visits.

The request will go to the Supervisor who is in charge at the time requested. The visit will be held on days and times that do not conflict with personal visits. The clergy member will need to bring proof of being ordained etc. All subsequent visits by the clergy can be done during regular visitation times if the inmate makes the change on his/her visitor form.
