Family Planning

The Family Planning Program provides free or low cost annual Well Woman exams, birth control, STI testing, vasectomy services, community outreach, and health education to support sexual health, well-being, and the reduction of unintended pregnancy in Yamhill County. Services are by law, completely confidential.

No one is refused basic service due to inability to pay. A patient may qualify for one of two funding programs based on family size, income, and citizenship or on a sliding-fee scale based on ability to pay. Our friendly bi-lingual staff, medical assistants, and nurse will help you find the right fit for your family’s needs.

If you have any of the following items, please bring them when you come

• Birth Certificate
• Social Security Number
• Photo I.D.*
• Passport

Services are provided by a nurse or a nurse practitioner at the clinic

• Birth Control (various methods) & counseling
• Annual Well Woman exam
• Pregnancy testing & counseling
• Emergency contraceptive/morning after pill
• Sexually transmitted infection (STIs) testing & treatment
• Resource information for pregnant women available by request
• Community health education
• Health education – including breast self-exam & testicular self-exam

Other Available Services Provided At Public Health:

• HIV testing
• STI testing and treatment for women & men
• Private insurance billing
